what marine tank battilions used stuarts
need pics of them where ever used
and if any off them were the ones with flamethrower version

Skytrainboy, thats a tall order I think the best way to aquire what you need is to purchase a copy of Concord Publications "Tank Battles of the Pacific War 1941-1945" by Steven Zaloga.
The book has great pictures and decent narrative and covers both ground and amphibious tank forces. Even has pictures of flame gun Stuarts, good luck on your quest.

Here is a brief History of Tanks in the Marine Corps. It looks like the 1st Tank Battalion used M2A4s and M3 Stuarts. 2nd Tank Battalion used them as well. 3rd and 4th Tank Battalions were equipped with M3A1 Stuarts. By mid 44, the USMC tank battalions were reorganized with M4A2 Shermans but the battalions retained 14 to 24 M3A1s modified as Satans. The Marines used small numbers of the M5A1 Stuart.
