Well everyone, I decided to kick off another blog. The T-72 is still ongoing, but progress is slow as I can only work on it when I stay at my parents place (where my compressor is). I picked up the Trumpeter kit for a low price on ebay with a bundle of AM stuff and just had to have a go at it.
I'm looking for a fairly simple build with this one, so will only detail the Trumpeter kit with what I have and ignore any of the accuracy issues (for example I read the kit is not the correct scale).

The Eduard photo-etch set will add a bit of finesse to the kit and hopefully improve some of the clunky plastic parts. The HAD radio set is necessary as Trumpeter sadly omitted this from the kit. I'm not sure yet whether i'll use the TANK items, but they should come in handy for cluttering the interior.
The vehicle will represent a one used by Hungarian revolutionaries during the 1956 uprising, based on this picture:

I've not been able to find any more photos of such vehicles, so will use this as a basis and probably apply a bit of artistic license. If anyone knows of any other photos of these vehicles in the hands of revolutionaries then i'd love to see them! Enjoy the build guys
