Hi, my name is Jon and I run a wargaming miniature company called Khurasan Miniatures. I make small models for wargamers, and many of them are vehicles meant for science fiction wargaming.
Recently I had manufactured a few sci fi grav cars in 1/100 scale. (Think Blade Runner or The Fifth Element.) This is not your father's Oldsmobile! There are three different grav cars, a stately limo, a cute compact and a racy sports car. They have little optional light strips to convert them into police cars. They do not require construction (other than adding the light strip to the car if you would like) as they are one piece resin castings, each about 2 to 3" long.
As you all may know, the finish on a car is different from that on a tank -- I have painters who finish my combat vehicles, but I'm looking for that new car smell on these three little kits. I've had armour modelers paint cars for me in the past and the finish is never convincing.
So I'm asking anyone who has strong car-modeling skills if they would be interested in painting and photographing these for me. You would get to keep them and I would link to your website or blog as well as give you credit on my store and announcements on the net. I'd like to get them to market so this is a get and paint thing, not a get and put in the pile until the spirit moves me thing.
If anyone reading this is interested, please contact me at [email protected]
Thanks in advance!
