While these are both re-pops, I agree they will be most welcome! (I've heard the trailers are post-WW2, but cannot swear it...)

Thanks, Darren. As with Tom I'd like to know if they're WW2 or later before purchasing.

Tom and Bill,as a 60 year old modeler,I can tell you that this trailer set is actually a combo of both WW2 and postwar. The cargo trailer is the 1950,s,60,s M101 series trailer. These were designed to be towed behind the post war M37 3/4 ton truck. The water tank trailer is WW2.It is based on the WW2 Ben Hur cargo trailer chassis. If you are a good scratchbuilder you can ditch the tank and build a Ben Hur trailer using the Italeri chassis. One piece of advice,Italeri used the 3/4 ton Dodge wheels and tires on these trailers. You should replace them with 2 1/2 ton GMC truck wheels and tires to be correct. The M101 series trailers were in use into Operation Desert Storm in Irag.Just a little info for you.

As a bit of information, The water tank trailer is WWII. Italeri has the wrong wheels on it. The GMC 2/12 ton wheels are correct, but still needs a hub detail in the center as the front wheels for the GMC’s have 4 wheel drive style hubs.
I commissioned Charlie Pritchett to master a new wheel for the Water tank / Ben Hur trailers. Celticwerks did the casting for me.
