Tis has probably been beaten to death, especially after Michael Rinaldi's E-100, but still. Can anyone point me to a good site about the E-100? I'm particularily interested in INTERIOR pics, as I'm planning one with interior (yes, I do know I'm crazy )
Thanks,
Rick

Well,
there are no "interior " pictures.I remember there is one picture of the Hull in the assembly yard, surrounded by a wooden fence.

TC is correct. The unfinished hull was shipped back to UK and eventually scrapped. No turret was ever built except for possibly a wooden mock-up. So any interior is guesswork.

I believe it was based on the Tiger II, seems like that would be a good place to start, perhaps with a peek at the Maus if there is are any interior shots of that. I guess the good part of not having much to go on is how will people be able to say your wrong.

Weebl,
Welcome to Armorama, hope you enjoy your time here!
Here is a site that has a bunch of pictures of many AFV interiors, including the Maus. Since I believe that the E-100 and the Maus shared a turret this should be helpful. At least to start.

Thank you gentlemen. As for the site, I already knew about it. I posted this same question over on ML, and someone gave me some interior pics out of a Spielberger book. I read somewhere that this book has more than 40 pics of the E-100 in it, so I wondered if there were some pics on the internet too, but sadly no.
Thank you for you help,.
Rick

Rick;
I also have SPEZIALPANZERFAHRZEUGE DES DEUTSCHEN HEERES by Walter Spielberger. If the guy from M-L gave you any interior photos is was of the one hull in the production line and partially completed at that. That was the condition it was in when the Brits captured it; and nothing more. The photos in the book are like 6 pix of how the roadwheels look and attach to the hull. Or three of the engine deck and screens.
You are not going to find anything more on the E100; and, if you do find it on the net, odds are that they are stolen from the Spielberger book.

Hi. Have to say that if you were to model the interior of the E-100 similarly to the Tiger II that you would probably be pretty close to correct, as the hull shapes are pretty much similar in their exterior shapes. And since there seems to be no known references to its insides anyway, who is there to say it's wrong? Used the old term of Shep Paine's--'gismology' here.
Take care, sgirty

Possibly mixing the Tiger II and the Maus interiors might also be close for the turret layout.

The E-100 used the Maus turret. If you need more info go to the AFV interior site. They have a 12 page write up on the Maus with a side cut view of the turret interior.
