I am updating the terrible old Tamiya M551 Sheridan (and the M41 as well...) to build from my stash, does anyone have a spare set of AFV Club Sheridan tracks (or AFV Club M41 rubber band track) they are not going to use? I am going to correct both beasts within reason to an early standard, as used in Vietnam. The M551 will need tweeks, does anyone have a list like the AMPS Dogpound type reviews have?

So far as I know AFV Club haven't made any tracks for the M551. I wish they had, as the Friulmodel ones are a bit steep. But as you put "Academy" in the subject line, you'd be welcome to my kit tracks if you like.

The academy tracks won't fit a Tamaya M551, too short, learnt this from first hand experience.

No worry, I will add a bit in from the original Tamiya ones where they are least visible, unless my plea yields 2 sets, but thanks for that info, what other changes to the Tamiya kit did you make?

Hey Merlin,
Don't know if my current build will help you, but you can view it here.

No problem, they'll be on their way at the weekend unless I can make it to a Post Office sooner.
Wouldn't put my address on an open forum if I were you. I've taken it down - you might want to edit your post.

Stalled project at the moment, depending on what references I can come up with, the plan is a T-80 VISMOD fron the NTC.

Address on a world wide web forum, I suppose it could be a bad idea. Alright, Sean, taking it down could be a good idea, so how does one edit a message?
Regards and thanks to all, great build Dave, it will help me lots.
I will keep eyes peeled for the tracks in the post!
