The next one on the shelf (number 34). M1151A1 w/B1 used by US Army in Iraq.
Model is an assemblage of ideas from many photos. I wanted to show a power of such equipped Humvee And I wanted to seize the opportunity to use elements, that had any model in my collection so far (Ibis Tek FPB, Rhino, Duke, Frag 7).
Markings are fictional, but I just liked decals from the kit.

Now I see, that I completely missed the antenna. I'll make it and take a photo to prove it

Ingredients:
- base model: Academy (13415) M1151 Enhanced Capacity Armament Carrier,
- valorisation and antennas: Voyager Model (PE35422) Modern USMC HUMVEE M1151 w/IED,
- wheels: DEF Model (DW35002) HMMWV MT-R Sagged Wheel Set,
- additional equipment: DEF Model (DM35008) US Humvee Stowage + MT tire set,
- Ibis Tek bumper and Rhino: Bronco Models (CB35092) M1114 Up-armored HA (Heavy) Tactical Vehicle.

It's models like this that make you want to put aside what your doing and start one of the few kits I have of this vehicle. Great model and excellent paint job.

Just love it.I have my third kit still on the shelf, might even consider using some AM kits.As for the ID numbers,I was told by a vet on, a dio I did ,that the black on tan decals were only used at the start of the war and soon changed to only black.I certainly would try changing yours and I personally don't know if that's fact.I'm sure Gino will know.
Anyway I think you've done a great job in all aspects to this build.

Thanks, Mike

And here is a comparison with M1025 from Somalia, 1993:

It's clearly visible how Armament Carrier Humvee has changed in 15 years.

A very interesting comparison Kuba... and to keep the progression going I think you'll have to go out of your comfort zone and build an M-ATV.

Sean I had plans to buy and make Panda's M-ATV, but gave up. The model is expensive and has got many faults. And - if I know myself - I would buy many aftermarkets for it. And for this money I could have three or four Humvee models
