Quite nice. A few things may make it more realistic. What is the story with the Maxim? I doubt it would simply be left for the Russians to reclaim. Where are the rest of the links to the tank's tracks? I would recommend using auto putty to cover the seems where the arms attach to the torso. The uniforms should show more wear and tear. This can be achieved by adding shadows, highlights, and possibly dirt on the boots. I don't mean to lecture, just suggestions for future builds.

Matt

Appreciate all help and advice.

The maxim has been recently abandoned due to the quick advance of the Germans. I assume they would just take the firing pin out to render it u s.

The tank tracks have come off the wheels all intact. My
bad photography has not shown the rest of it.

There is mud on the boots, trousers of the grunts although the officers have clean boots for obvious reasons(other guys to clean them). Again my bad photography maybe has not been clear.

I did pin wash and dry brush the uniforms but it may have been too subtle.

I take on board the seems on the arms they are the bane of my life.

Cheers

Gerry

I understand on the photography. I've used a few cameras and find it difficult to pick out some details. My current Nikon I hoped would alleviate this, but alas no. I have noticed that the colors come out somewhat differently. Pretty sure this is correctable in the settings.

Why is there a live 88 round on the ground behind the Russian tank?

Biggles2

I think the camera angle and my pathetic photography has made the round much larger than it is.It is a small round which would be compatible with the tank gun.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers

Gerry
