Hey Guys,
I'm building a Tamiya M1025 humvee, and want to add a jerry can rack to the rear, I can't find any dimensions for it on the internet so if anyone has anything I'd be grateful.
Also, does anybody know how much stowage they carried during OIF?
I have a few bits,
and also purchased Tamiya 35266 Modern US Equipment set, and this verlinden set.
Will I have enough stowage?

Here are the specs for the Gipsy Rack fuel can carrier, often seen in OIF :
Length: 20 in.
Width : 50 in.
Height : 18 in.
Some manual drawings here :

On a side note, Blast Models include one in one of their Humvee sets :
Talking about stowage, you can never get enough stuff :

I have a spare photo-etch jerry can holder I can send you. I also have a Real Model resin jerry can in a holder I can send you if you want instead.
On M1025's, spare jerry can holders were most often mounted on the rear slope of the 'turtle back' left or right of the rear hatch. They were occasionally mounted on the rear left or right side as well.
Here are a couple of different ways:
Humvee on the right has them mounted on the rear slope.

Unfortunately I don't have any infos about this picture. I would make a guess and say that judging by the soldiers who wear woodland NBC suits, this USMC (1st Marine Division) convoy is on its way to Baghdad at the beginning of OIF in March 2003 but that's all...
Here'a another well loaded USMC Humvee :
