I have a Mini Art plastic base that I want to glue/bond to a 1/4" piece of plywood.
I have sanded both but I would like to know what bonding agent would be best to ensure adhesion and that the wood will not warp?
Thanks.

I think Liquid Nails would work. It's stable and will not warp the wood. Either the general purpose or the tub and tile adhesive. Another option would be to use screws to attach the base to the plywood.

High strength super glue works extremely well ,,done it that way for years ,,sheet styrene glues to balsa, ply and pretty much anything else thats made of wood .
The only draw back is that when you place the plastic onto the wood it will glue instantly so be careful

Make sure the binding surfaces are somewhat coarse, so the glue will have something to hang on to.

Hi Marc, if you go with a super-glue use the thicker types. Don't use the thin super-glues that set within 1-3 seconds because the wood would absorb them very quickly as the wood being a porous material.
You can also you a 2 part expoxy which works very well for your particular purpose and you'll have the benefit of a slower cure leaving you time to adjust the base if need be.

I have had a lot of success laminating plywood to sheet styrene using liquid plastic cement, the kind used for normal modelling... Of course you need a lot, and it needs to soften the plastic properly, but I have still got several years-old architectural models built from this laminate...
I buy this - It's dirt cheap, and is almost certainly available in the States...

I agree. Thick ca glue is your best bet.

Thanks everyone for the ideas.
I went with the Liquid Nails and I just took all the clamps, and weights off and she is "solid".
