Hey guys. Got a few quearies about the Syrian T-34/122. This is the T-34 with a D-30 artillery piece attached to some plates directly over the drivers hatch. I have always wanted to build this SPG and recently aquired an AEF conversion for this bad boy. I'm using the Dragon T-34/85 model 1944, Tamiya T-55 roadwheels, the AEF kit and plenty of remodeling. Working great so far but have a few issues.
1) The seat back for the driver is missing. Anyone have pics, back and front, for a scratchbuild? Any suggestions for an aftermarket one?
2) The front platform, which is a simple grate, is foldable on the real one but, there is no such representation of the hinges on the kit. Any pics of this out there?
3) The platform would have braces or a locking mechanisms when it is up but none are given for the kit. Once again, any pics out there?
4) How was the ammo stored in the vehicle? The kit supplied ones are missing and I doubt that they just stood up without a rack of some kind. The instructions are basic, at best, and dont give any idea of the rack at all.
5) All those questions are easily answered if anyone knows a book or site with a walk around of this vehicle.

Thanks for any answers and MODEL ON.......

Talking about the driver's seat, and providing it's the same as the one found in the T-34/85, here's a picture from Flickr.com :

Thanks Frenchy. The first link answered alot of questions. Unfortunately, the second link doesn't work. The question of the plateform hinge and brace/locking mechanism are still up in the air. Guess some internet trolling and maybe some "gizmology" are the order for this problem.
