Does anyone know if the Revell kit is in fact a reboxing of the Italeri? If so, then presume Eduard etch is ok for Revell kit?

I used to have this kit, it is very nice indeed, but it doesn't come with a full engine. On the other part, if you want a WWII-era BM-13, this is not your option, the truck is a post-war Zil truck, can't remember the exact model. WWII Katyusha launcher was mounted on Zis-6 or Studebaker US6 trucks, IIRC. As I said before, I used to have the Italeri kit, but as I wanted a WWII BM-13, I exchanged it for another kit. Good luck. Best regards.

For a WWII version, you will need the ICM kit or some scratch building. ICM's kit is pricey, but it was the only game in town. Maybe someone can post some juxtaposed images?

There is also the Alan kit of the Zis-6 version, if you can find it.

Thanks for the feedback.
I hadn't researched the topic enough to appreciate the Revell/Italeri truck wasn't the Studebaker US6.
The ICM version is about £27 here in the UK (E Models). I see that ICM have issued the Studebaker previously as a kit in its own right for about the same price, so the 'rocket version' doesn't seem a bad deal to me.
