Hi all,

I just learned that Challenger 2 of Royal Mercian Regiment took part in the recent Saber Junction Exercise. After I found Trumpeters Challenger 2 kit in my stash, I wonder if there are any AM update sets for this kit out?

Thanks

Not to doubt your word but the Mercian Regiment is an infantry regiment and not cavalry and as such would be, and were crewing Warriors.

If they are crewing Challengers it would be very strange indeed and a first.....

I think you may have your facts wrong and that they were in fact the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys)?

They are RSDG wagons. They would be counted as part of the Mercian Battlegroup - think it's just been lost in translation...

I'd get the Accurate Armour update set

http://www.sockelshop.de/catalog/challenger2-update-trumpeter-p-26282.html

And the lightened perforated wheels

Hi all,

thanks for the hints. It was of course not the Royal Mercians but the RSDG. . Should better polish up my knowledge
on British Army Regiments.
