Pretty impressive model but I imagine it would leave a serious dent in the wallet. Looks cool though.

you can buy them direct or direct via eBay. They are $325 shipped, and come with two full sets of Fruil tracks. First 10 orders get metal roadwheels and sprockets.
I bought mine today when I saw it.

My X-mas present early.
Will post when i get the kit.

yeah I got this announcement in the mail yesterday. I always had mixed feelings about Panzershop. Great subjects, but way too expensive for the not so great casting quality and for some kits also the lack of detail. But let's wait for a review of this interesting subject.

I saw this kit on Panzershop´s webpage.
WOW, what a NICE thing!!!
Another soviet SS-missile for our plans and collections.
Until now I only knew Dragon´s "SS-1C SCUD-B", Sharkit´s "SS-4 Sandal" and "SS-5 Skean" kits.
But Sharkit´s kits are in 1/72, while Dragon and Panzershop´s are in 1/35 scale.
BUT: nice addition!
greetings...

Well Jeff, I splurged greatly. I DID NOT want to miss getting this kit...one of my all time favorites, same with my 2S7 Pion.
And for this kit it SEEMS to come with 2 sets of Fruil tracks to make enough for both runs. If true, that is ~$110 just in tracks alone.
Now for the SS-25 someday!

I sent an emil to Panzes Shop asking about if the kit will come with a cd or dvd of build pictures and real pictures. also asked if they were going to do a Topal-M. Thats the real monster, but I would also like to see a S-300 with the radar trucks

Wow, as much as I like oddball Soviet/Russian kits, I just don't know when or if I can afford the 'Scrooge' any time soon. I have bought a few of their big kits in the past, namely the 2s7 and their BTS-3 tank, so I can see myself buying this model maybe, or sometime in the near future.

Part of the money I was able to "arrange" for this purchase is my NOT going to the AMPS nationals show next year.

It certainly has the wow factor in terms of size, but sadly for me when it comes down to it its basically 300 odd bucks for a tracked box with a big tube on top.

Gentlemen,
Whilst I would love th own the Scrooge, I'm not sure I can run to the funds or indeed, the space to house the finished model; however, it will be an eye-catcher on the show tables.
I do though hanker after the other tactical misisles referred to; I haven't even got the Dragon Scud B yet, but I love the Scud A, and the SS23. But what is the chance of say, Trumpeter, producing the FROG series? Or must I labour away at grafting (and detailing) the ancient Glencoe FROG 2 on to a PT 76 chassis (and yes, I know there's a scale discrepancy)? The FROG range on the JS, PT 76 and the wheeled chassis of the Zil in respect of FROG 7 would, I am sure, fly off the shelves - no pun intended. Or is that just me?
Anyway, well done Panzershop.

1. While the Scrooge was never put into production, or was briefly in service, it is still iconic and freaked out a LOT of people back in the day. I will build it in the hopes that some old CIA operative will see it and totally go into nostalgia anxiety. I am evil that way.

2. I think Trumpeter or Hobby Boss may eventually get to the FROG series. Seems right up their alley eventually.
3. as for cuddling...i think i would get in trouble..

Jim has contacted Libor at Panzershop and there is no disc of pics coming with it so, the challenge is to see what resources anyone can find on this system...???
For starters the SS-15 "Scrooge" was the 8K99 carrying the RT-20 missile.
