Thanks for sharing your review! Lately I had the kit in my hands on a modelling show for 56 euros. To my opinion this was a bit to much, what do you think of it in relation to quality?

I've seen the same price,virtually,if an AM company doesn't do a PE set I think it's the right price.
The problem starts when we have a dedicated pe set,this mean,IMHO that there are some areas that can be improved,the same with the resin upgrade,unless it's a very small update/correction.
I would love to see a SBS topic and to see what is wrong(if there's something of wrong).

Seems to be a nice kit and also the price is in this range. (about 57 Euro in one of our shops... which is about 73 USD)

I have check a few internet stores and you can find lower prices, but you also factor in shipping. As for detail Panda has done a pretty good job, for the information that was out there, also I have built the resin version, but it was a earlier model. This kit has a lot of room to have AM sets, engine, interior and so on with all the hatches open. A metal barrel would be nice, but adding things like that just drives up the price. Also to me it looks a prices are going up across the board for this hobby.

I got one from Blast and started it on the weekend. My kit has a very waxy mold release agent on it; a bath in detergent is needed! There are some pretty small pieces - I already tweezer-launched a small hinge piece into the neither world. Lots of ejection pin marks and sink marks on the radar dish front and back. There's a great walk-around at DishModels

I ment to mention the radar, but missed it. You are right about the small parts there are lots and my I suggest working on a white sheet draped onto the floor, this may save a few of the small parts. Also invest in a bright LED flash light I have found more parts with the light. The kit I reviewed did not have the releaseing agent on it. Can I ask how the kit came to you? was it in shrink wrap and did it inclued WOT cards. Thanks for the link on DishModel, It looks to be another revised system, with what looks like a FLIR sensor on the turret and a different main radar arrey.

No shrink wrap and no WOT cards, unfortunately the packing from Blast wasn't that great this time around (thin cardboard box) and my whole parcel was crumpled - the kit box was punctured by something; thankfully no damage to the parts themselves, just a few pieces knocked off the sprues.

Hi, just bought mine, paid 56$ canadian. About the tracks, I seem to recognize the ZSU-23 frame so my question is this: Do you think we can use Friulmodel's metal tracks for the ZSU-23-4M on the Tunguska?

I know I'll try it but I have a Flakpanzer Gepard to finish before the Tunguska.

[EDIT] I emailed Giuseppe at Friulmodel Webshop and made the suggestion or more like requested/begged for tracks to be released for this model. Fingers crossed.

And I will answer my question: No, The Zsu-23-4M's tracks will not fit on the Tunguska. I've just checked mine and looked at the box's photo and they're not similar at all.

I've got my now. A lot of areas need to be reworked. Bolts are in some areas bad.
Panda should rework the manufacturing process. A lot of bendings and "white edges" here and there because of the pressing out of the forms.


I put my upper hull in the backing oven at ca 70°C for a few minutes to get all the white bendings line out. Also the edge of the front was a bit wrapped on the left side in my kit..


But otherway not that bad kit

I personally know the manufacturer (Friul).
I told him the problem, also the Tunguska and Shilka ZSU-23 does not use the same.
The plans include Krug (SA-4 Ganef) / acacia, which is perfect for the Tunguska.

I can not find parts, (the book is not checked) Vomiting number of parts (maybe the PE-11?), Published a plan in 3D, but the book (instruction manual) are not marked with the identification!.
Another question is: PE-17 component of the bending edges can not find or references sizes.

It seems it was also forgotten by Voyager...

So this is the reason why the Voyager's set does not contain this part.
I have to check the assembly guide some times before building ... They did the same as before There were a lot of mistakes in their MRAPs book too.

It is very nice to have the review and thanks for that, a friend of mine bought it but I have not see it yet. I know he gave around 55euros that is quite expensive. However the theme is great!

The Dish Model site walkaround shows what this should look like, though it appears there should be two? However I've seen plenty of pics with this not in position so I'll probably just leave it off.

Do I absolutly need that Voyager P-E set to make my Tunguska better? Will it miss something if I do not buy it?

I already plan on buying Friul's track in a couple of months, like they answered me in an email, so with those tracks, the value of the model will be high. Adding that P-E set will put it higher than I'd like.

I don't plan on having Armed Security here to guard my models

Did Friul or anyone else (Spade-Ace etc) come out with tracks for this kit?

The tracks in the Trumpeter 2S3 can be used. I cannot remember if they are a complete swap out with the Panda Hobby kit or if the sprockets need to be changed too...
