Hi, I read quite a few blogs and articles on creating water and most of them recommended Envirotex. Since I dont have access to this product in my country, I checked in eBay and found this -

just want to if this is the product modellers use before I purchase it. And also would like to know if it dries as clear, hard and with a gloss effect.

I've tried envirotex lite in thin layers and its great but I don't know if you can pour in thick layers.

I use gedeo crystal resin:
http://en.pebeo.com/Pebeo/More-of-Pebeo/New-Gedeo-Resins-by-Pebeo which i pour in quarter inch thickness. It's similar to envirotex when cured, though I think this product is more crystal clear.

I also used Easy Cast from envirotex:

And add a texture layer on top with an acrylic modelling gel like this one:
