Please take a look at the attached link. Various pics show a definite green color for the main color of this tank.

What maker and color of paint would you use for this? I do not spray paint, so need something that can be painted by hand.

Also, any ideas for the lighter shade of color used?

TIA for any help.

From the looks of it, that appears to be possibly a lightened shade of Tamiya NATO Green.

As far as a marker goes, have you looked at the Gundamn series of markers? They are good for doing detailing work. Hope this helps out a bit.

It's really hard to say, as every graphic card displays colors somewhat differently unless it's a calibrated screen.

Nato Green is a good place to start, then fine tune it your needs.

It seems to me very close to Humbrol color number 30

I would have to say tamiya nato green or olive green. For the tan I would use Tamiya's earth color. For ease of brushing use Tamiya paint thinned with rubbing alcohol. just thin it down to the consistancy that you are comfortable with.

After finally getting a number of recs, I tried all sorts of colors and combos on a test tank. Ended up with Humbrol #150 for the green, and Tamiya buff XF-57 for the lighter color. Using a Gundamn brown marker between colors.

Thanks for all the help!
