Hi gang,

I know this will be an endless thread, but I plan to make some suggestions to various manufacturers on next years Nuremberg Toy Fair. On my list is the M777 howitzer, the PZSH IV, some FMTV versions and the M142 HIMARS. I will meet with Trumpeter and Revell. And please make only suggestions for modern vehicles.

There are many vehicles I wish for, but without much thinking the following are the first that come to my mind and that I would really like to see in 1/35 scale..

The German Fennek

The French VAB (4X4 - 6X6) - I know we have the Heller kits, but as I understand it, they are really bad.

The Maz W/ Scud B - again, I know Dragon makes one.. but it's not up to today's standards at all.

Well, these three are the ones that come to my mind. I'm sure if I give it more thought I'll come up with many more

@ Hisham

I will definitly talk with Revell about the Fennek.

@ Jason

Trumpeter asked me some years ago for certain details shots of the CAIMAN MRAP. With the M1083 out no I hope they work on the CAIMAN right now.

@ all
I would appreciate it if anyone can point out online photo resources for the desired models. It`s always helpful to have something to show at the Trumpeter booth.

@ Per
Isn´t the AMPV still under development? I hardly believe that Revell will put money into a an experimetal vehicle (except is is the Puma);-)) :-))

Would LOVE to see a US Desert Storm version of the M911 and trailer in plastic. Since HB just did the m1070 and Trumpy has done several other Tank Transports I do not see this as a stretch.
Along those lines a Proper IDF Volvo Tanks Transport and trailer as well as the old Mack version as well. Cheers.

@ Damon
Maybe some should give HobbyFans M911 and trailer to HobbyBoss.
It would speed up the developing progress.

I thought orders were already placed by Bundeswehr.

But in that case... Eagle IV would be nice to see

The M911 sounds interesting. I will definitly give this idea to Trumpeter/HobbyBoss. Then maybe you can provide the pics yourself.

@ Per
Eagle IV is definitly something for Revell. I will put it forward.

@Jason
I think a friend of mine already provided Trumpeter with Dingo 2 images

T-80 series is a no-brainer, I've got to believe that Trumpeter has that in their plans.

I have a soft spot for 40's heavy tanks, so a KV-3, Black Prince (please Meng!), ARL 44 (yeah, right!), US T29 series, and IS-7 would be wonderful but seem to have probably somewhat limited appeal.

Honestly, I build tanks and the last decade has been good, there's little left that I want that hasn't been made.

I know this thread was tagged for Modern Armor, but I'd really (REALLY!) love to see some major manufacturer take on WWI and the Inter-War period.

There are no quality, up-to-date injection molded kits of any subjects from this time period - The birth of the AFV and armored warfare has been left alone by all of the major players.

The fist one of the major kit makers to take this on will have the field and market all to themselves.

Perhaps Trumpeter's indigenous, domestic market isn't interested in these subjects, but I think that overall a great interest and a large untapped market exists right now for them.

Hans-Hermann,

I shared some links but I have lots of reference photos too of the subjects that I mentioned above. I believe Trumpeter or some of the other Far-East companies may interested (or already working) with them.

I totally have to agree with people here about russian (main battle) tanks. After Gerät kits of BMPs and T-64 these are definitely nescessary. Those are actually the only wishes i have beside the Black Panther.

Japan Type 10

In my opinion, Tamiya will "definitely" build a Type 10 in 2-3 years.

Would love to see the Mercedes Benz Unimog U1700 version (the slightly bigger one than the U1300 which Revell did). An M119 105mm howitzer for it to tow would be great too.

Along with that, a pinzgauer 6x6 (like the accurate armour 4x4) and the m1089 recovery version of the M1083!!

And an L5 105mm Pack howitzer from Oto Melara!

That is all...........
