Todd,

This looks like a nicely executed kit. The way they moulded the tracks is quite novel and interesting provided that the plastic responds to bending well. Did you find any inaccuracies in the instructions and do they provide any clear material for the windshield?

Cheers,

Hi Jan,

This is a pretty nice kit. Some extras care is needed getting many of the tiny, delicate parts off the sprue, but now more than usual on average braille kits. The tracks are actually pretty cool. They are better than the bandies by far, how ever a small dab of glue is needed on the top of the road wheels to keep the sag down, nothing new there but the bend around the drive sprocket nicely.

The instructions were spot on, even to the point you would want to follow them to the letter. I jumped a step while constructing and realized I needed to pull a section off...luckily the other part was not cured yet!

There is a small piece of clear acetate included in the kit. The pice is slid into the instructions and can easily be lost if the kit is dumped out on the bench. This piece is not cut to size, but there is true to scales drawing of the size needed and it was cut in seconds with a standard #11.

I plan on starting a quick build thread later today to show the kit going together, which is relatively quick btw.

Keep your eyes open for it!!

Thanks!!

Todd, excellent review. Makes me want to chuck my 1/35 and go 1/72! I look forward to seeing your Demag with paint. Do you model early, mid- or late war ?

Great review Todd!

For those not wishing to pay the outrageous postage from Switzerland (courtesy of the Swiss postal service... ), here's a link to Tamanoir, their distributor with links to local distributors and retailers.

Cheers!
