Not sure if this is the proper forum, but. I think this may have gone unnoticed in my last post. As part of my early planning stages, where can I find ww2 back round images similar to those used in model railroading? Printed on long rolls of paper of various sizes. Are there such things, or am I left to create one?.

This might be more suited in the diorama forum, but it'll work just as well here. I did see the question in your previous post, but have never seen any background images as you describe, other than the mentioned railroad ones.

Why don't you just use an appropriate model RR background. Some are generic enough to be anywhere in Europe as well as N.A. You could try Scenic Express. Also, some European manufacturers (Heki and Vollmer come to mind) make European background land and townscapes.
