Hi. Was up to my favorite local hobby store today getting some paints and ran across a couple of Tamiya models that had the Eduard PE sets of Zimmerit included in them. Different types of boxes, even though they were Tamiya nonetheless. Most of the outside was outlined in black, instead of the usual white. They were around $50. One was a Panzer IV and the other a Panther. Kind of interesting, but I was able to resist as long as I didn't stay and look at the fine print too much. Ha!
Take care, sgirty

I've got the PZ IV. Cheapest place I found it was on Ebay via a Malaysian supplier. The supplier has a distribution centre in the UK though. Cost about $45.00.
Didn't really like the Eduard Zim though, a bit too regular and harsh, not blending in with the rest of the kit.

I noticed at my local HobbytownUSA that they now carry the old Tamiya Sd.Kfz 222 and it comes with four pieces of photo etch. The four pieces assemble into the screen roof for the turret. Two pieces for the frame and two pieces for the mesh. I want to say it ran about $20, but don't remember for sure.
Anyone else see this "new" upgraded kit?

Noticed them also but for $50.00 for a $30.00 kit with added Zim and photo etch at that will leave it alone better to get kit and use either atak or something else homemade Zim and spend the extra $$$ on tracks or the Eduard PE set or barrel ,tools (++) (:-)
