Hi! New modeler looking to buy a kit of paints for painting WWII Armor & Air. Instead of buying single bottles of paint, does Testors sell kits that may contain the basic colors for modeling?

If you'rer new to modelling, I'd personally recommend steering towards Vallejo, AK Interactive, or Lifecolor for their sets. Much more user friendly than testors. Some of this will also be dependent on what nation/era you're modeling?

Only plus to using a Testors set is you can actually find them in stores; unless you happen to live around a well stocked hobby shop. Then again, I don't think you'll save any money by buying the sets of paint either.

I do live close to a hobby shop that carries Testors paints but they dont have kits. Wanted to stick with Testors since I can be there in 10mins if I needed anyting ASAP.

Do they have any other brands? It is always good to have options. The Testors paint sets that I know of are the small bottles of enamel paint. Even in the color sets they are fairly limited in range.
