See, I said don't bother banking of retiring on a stash of those 'rare' cyberhobby Tigers. Whilst I believe not exactly the same as the really expensive DAK version, this will surely undercut the value of most of those kits.....

Do we have a release date? Is this a new kit or just a rerelease of an older kit? At this price and the fact that my hobby shop gives 25% off I will be getting a few of these kits.

This is nothing like the "DAK" version (which wasn't really "DAK" anyway).
This is much more like the "Wittman" kit.

I know jack sh*t about Tigers, but from what I read this has features in common with one of the early Wittmann Tigers, which currently some people try and sell for around $200.
Edit-David beat me to it.

Looks good, pretty light on P.E. though, not even engine grills?
Still nice to see it.

true but $38 plus say $30 for PE and barrel is still a lot cheaper than $200 on Ebay. Is there a release date? I may have missed it

yes finally a much demanded model re-released, i just could not justify spending up ward of 400.00 for the Wittman kit that im going to build. Now i must preorder 10,000 kits to ensure the modelling universe is not thrown into turmoil, they must all be hoarded so they demand outrageous prices ebay

I read that the release is either "immediately" or a week or two. i have already contacted my LHS to check it out and order me a few.

Ah true, didn't really think that one out. Just seems a lot of the new DML releases have had Zimmerit lately.
