OK..working on the manipulator arm, and hit a snag. I'm trying to replicate the hoses running by the camera mount, pics show a "tray" that the hoses lay in for the claw. I'm questioning how the hoses are routed when the arm extends?
Is there a second tray the hoses run along? how do the hoses "lay " when the arm is retracted?
Thanks for any help..I'll post pics soon..everyone should like the "wrap" I made over the hoses !!

yeah..amazing detail throughout the arm! Thanks for the pictures, its very helpful.
Do your hoses hold the "trays" up while extending the arm ? the fact they're moveable is excellent. I really like the appearance of the protective wrap too..I used jap tissue soaked in Elmers for mine.

I use Tamiya Tape for the wrap.
The longer "Tray" is glued on one side and on the other side i drilled a little hole and glueed a little brass rod in it. This rod fits into the "guide rail"(?).
The shorter "Tray" is only glued at one side where the spotlight is.

Here are a few pics that may help with adding details to the arm :

These pics show the Buffalo Surrogate Vehicle but I guess the arm is the same...
