Does anyone have this set? I'm a little confused as to if it has the bar armor included with it or not.

Hi Scott.
Yes, that's a big set and the slats are included.
I've mine and I can tell you it's great time spending.
ASAP I'll post first shots of them on my Buffalo thread.
Cheers.

YES, it is.
Don't know those for the Stryker, as I never built one. They are pretty thin, maybe more than the Stryker ones'. But it's the same on the real machines.
Lione Roar obviously provides each part to obtain slats, the connectors too. These aren't really exact in their shapes, but we have some kind of brackets and they work for a good final appearance in my opinion. I think you maybe want to replace each orizontal bar, as they are......totally flat, being PE. The real ones have a square section. Actually I'm going to do this job, using 0,3 mm Plastruct square segments. Building slats is a long but simply work: inside the box we have two PE jigs to have several kinds of slats in order to their exact location on the Buffalo. I think you will be free to leave out some of them, as on real Buffalo. On mine I scratched the MEAP side armors, so I'm obliged to modify some sections of my slats.
One advice more for those who are going to use this set: paint and weather all the model before fix slats....later it will be really difficult (impossible, I think). Don't know if I was wrong in this timing, but it's what I'm gonna do

Some pics of the Lion Roar box and what's inside
the frets for the slats
One of the 2 jigs
My first 3 slats: the first from L is modified as per real in order to adapt it to the MEAP armor.
Hope I helped you.
Cheers.
