Hi gents,
I am still preparing materials for the Toy Fair and I think the FV 432 family is urgently needed in 1/35 scale styrene.
1. So, are there any walkaround on the net of the FV 432 family except those on Primeportal.Also drawings would be helpful. And don`t forget the Abbot howitzer (I still remember the old Airfix 1/32 scale model

)
2. Does the AS 90 howitzer in British service have only the 155 mm/L39 gun or do they got meanwhile the 155mm/L52 armament?

Salut Frenchy,
reliably as always my friend, merci beaucoup.
After getting through my my humble British references, I wonder if Britsh M109 have been somehow modified or could the Italeri/Kinetic/AFV Club kits been build OOTB?
And are there some upgrade/details sets for Trumpeter AS 90?

The Trumpeter AS90 model has a number of faults that vary from easy to difficult to fix however the AA offering from memory tackles most issues.

The upgrade for the 52 cal gun on the AS90 was cancelled for financial reasons so all British AS90`s have the 39cal gun.
The British M109`s had a different track to the one in the AFV Club kit. It is the German Diehl style track. (hope I spelled that right).

I built the AA AS-90 before the Trumpeter kit, and then did the Trumpeter kit (only because it was free) and the AA kit was superior. There used to be discussions, especially on ML, about how Trumpeter "stole" the plans from AA, but if you put both kits side by side that was clearly not the case.
AA has not forgotten the Abbot. I have theirs about 90% complete and it's typical of AA's high standard. I'm not sure we'd be well served by one in styrene.
Often someone will say "I'll wait for the one in styrene," only to find that when it comes out, the detail isn't as good as you can get with resin. After you purchase one or two PE sets to correct or enhance it, you may have well have gotten the resin one (which already had PE in it) to begin with.
