Hi guys
This is my Panther D tank, he's a little bit more modified than I had planned but I'm happy with him now!

What sort of colour schemes would a Panther have had during testing/ proving or at the very start of its service?

Also I'd like to try Vallejo paints for this one what colors would be best to buy?

Thanks a lot!
Dan

Panther D's left the factories in late spring 1943 and saw their first action during the Kursk offensive. They were factory finished in the new dark yellow. Some were left in basic yellow in action, and some were camo'ed with green and brown. Check some references for what colors you want to use.

Thanks a lot Biggles Thats very useful information!
I like the idea of a whitewashed tank like this, would that have happened to such an early tank?

Thanks

I don't see a problem with using a whitewash on it.
