This is my 1st posting. The kit is the old ESCI kit. Hull reshaped and turret details changed to reflect the C varient. Also changed fender arrangement and added smoke candle launchers. Comment welcomed. Thanks, Bill.

Welcome to this forum, Bill. Nice to see a new poster and a not so common subject. It looks really good and the vignette is interesting. Hope to see more of your work in the future.

@panzerman1 - Bill,
Glad to see you posting something here and hope that we see more of your work in the future. The Pz II looks good but I really like the scene with the bridge. I see this one was entered in a show, do you participate in many shows or just occasionally? I recently got the Italeri rerelease of this kit so I can appreciate how small it is. How did it go together?
Cheers,
Jan

@ Mike, Thanks, The "Happy Times" for the German Panzer Waffen.
@ Jan, Thank you. Yes, I attend about 6-8 shows a year...Great Fun. The kit is old, but still good...only real drawback is the tracks.
Best Regards, Bill.

@panzerman1 – William,
Welcome, hope your stay here will be a fun and rewarding one.
That is one really cool scene. You managed to replicate the wooden antenna cradle and fine headset wires on the figure, nice touch. The flag draped over the rear engine deck gives a good splash of color to the overall panzer gray. It’s not surprising how well these oldie kits stand up to the markets current state of the art moldings with an experienced hand.
Glad you took the time to post and share you work. Hoping to see more of your work here, don’t be shy.

Eddy, Thanks, I appreciate the warm welcome. I agree with you, the older kits are still viable competition models today. Plus I have a nostalgic preference for old ESCI kits...they always came with nice details...like separate tools(something today Dragon has reverted back to molded on ones), extra equipment, and figures. Brand new kits are !*#%
to me if they have molded on tools. Enough RANT. Thanks again...will be posting more soon. Bill

Hi Wlliam,
Welcome to Armorama, I hope we see more of your work here.
Nice result with your model, there is a pastel look about it, giving it a personal style.What did you use to make and paint the water?
P.A.

Thanks Alexander. The water is fine cast Miliput, sculpted to resemble waves and eddys. It was painted with craftstore acrylics and given a gloss coat. Thanks for the interest in my lil creation. Bill

Hey William,
I'll reiterate what everyone else has said, nice panzer and I really dig the presentation. Did you fabricate the bridge? Welcome to the forum and looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks Kerry, I appreciate the warm welcome I'm receiving here. In answer to your question...the bridge is scratchbuilt ...used good old Balsa wood....the material still has some uses in the modern era. Thanks again for the interest. Regards, Bill.
