I hope it is really coming out soon. Trumpeter has had it as a future release and had a built-up sample for a few years now.

I'm surprised its taken this long to produce this in plastic. We saw these in their first real action just about 10 years ago in Iraq, and yet we've seen every other oddball MRAP and M-ATV vehicle made into kit form. Not that I'm complaining because I love them all. Just really happy that finally we will have an MTVR. The variant possibilities also have me excited. Hoping to either scratch a MTVR recovery truck or an aftermarket company comes out with one!

It has indeed been a long time. I first sent them photos about four years ago, and posted photos of the master on ML well over two years ago, if not three. It'll be interesting to see if they include all of the interior placards. If not, it could be another project for Archer.

Saw that last night when Cybermodeler updated (usually about 7:00pm for -8GMT). Couldn't figure out why it was nearly ninety dollars. This is one of those times I DON'T understand why everyone else is excited...

Also a good idea. I'd buy both versions

I agree with you...much like the LTMV they did...its WAY overpriced IMO...not to mention all the issues with the LTMV's interior. I managed to snag one for $39.99 or so on Amazon...which was an ok price.

Don't worry, just like most kits, the price will come down over time. The initial frenzy when it first comes out will calm down and the price will drop as well.
It does look good though. I can't wait to see how they did with it once the reviews come out.
