Hi,
I'm building my first miniart building. I was hoping to add some creeping vine to it to one of the corners, but I have no idea what technique to use to do this.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your time
Jeff

Verlinden has some polyvinyl type leaves, supposed to be for AFV camouflage but should give you the same effects. Or, I believe Treemendus makes an Ivy type of scatter material that might work as well.

I've used Woodland Scenics foilage in thin strips in the past and worked quite well.

Why don't you PM Jerry and ask him what he did to make the vines on his castle ruins:
Armorama:This Old House Project
The vines shown on his ruins towards the bottom of the third page look very nice.

HTH,
I hadn't even thought of that! Jerry's diorama is gold!

Or Hudson and Allen make a nice set too. Pull apart the thin filter type sections and glue on the leaves. Works real good and not expensive. Or use some gray green thread for the vines and add your own or bought leaves.

For this diorama I used a Silfor product called ivy summer. I bought it from Scenery Express. Comes as a mat that you cut and stretch to the shape you want and then glue it in place.

And of course Tyrel's piece. Think I already suggested it to someone who was looking for a background paper/picture stuff.
