Hi Vyacheslav- thats a very fine looking build there, plenty of detail. Are you using the Voyager PE set for this?

Not to throw a spanner in the works but does anyone have any pics showing this type of BTR-50Pk in NVA service as the few pics I can find show the later type with the extended nose and raised rear hull? Any info gladly accepted. The Trumpeter kit depicts an early type with the original nose and engine deck.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy, according to the Stockholm database
http://armstrade.sipri.org/armstrade/page/trade_register.phpFrom 1959 to 1962, the GDR was to ordain 200 BTR-50P and PK. Late BTR-50 PK (with a long nose, and created this time based on the PT-76B) to produce only in the middle of 1962, that is, in the delivery of this period, he could not get (comes only later.) Photos of early BTR I unfortunately do not. But based on the database it is safe to say that the German army was a decent number of such machines

Hi Vyacheslav,
Thanks for that info and the link. Looks like the NVA did indeed have some of the earlier BTR-50PK types. That will allow me to finish mine as an East German one too.
Regards
Andy

Would you be able to tell me what colours and what techniques you used to achieve that shade and finish of green please? I think it looks so realistic.
Thanks very much.

Wow, a very nice NVA SPW. Great finish and color. Congratulations.
But, without the 'Nachtmarschanlage' and the 'Verladekeile' he looks incomplete.

This are typical equipment for NVA tanks.

Thank you. "Nachtmarschanlage" really is a typical equipment for technicians NVA, but at this stage of its development, I do not know how and what I could do "Nachtmarschanlage." So yes, that would look like. But "Verladekeile" is not present on all models SPw-50.
By the way the last photo just did earlier BTR-50 on the low case (for arisen earlier question of the presence of NVA these machines.
