I need to find 6 horses in 1/35th scale with no tack gear that are galloping. Historex 1/32nd are way too large and Doug's originals are almost $19.00 each plus shipping. Any one have some of these or know of a cheaper source? I appreciate any help in advance. bob d.

No plastic 1/35 horses that I can think of. You'll probably have to buy MiniArt's horses and do a little surgery.

Bob,
You might want to try MasterBox's recent 1/35 release of the 8th Pennsylvania Cavalry. You get three horses in full gallop for about 20 bucks. Maybe about the most reasonable option out there.
Cheers,
Rick

Hey Biggles2, Doing surgery on a horse is real hard considering the mussel and tendon mass, I know I'm not that good.
Hey Rick, unfortunately Masterbox 8th PA. calvary set is the one I'm trying to replace. I worked with horses for years and the ones in the kit just don't really cut it for a full gallop. One is stumbling which is fine but the other 2 are quite strange. And I have 2 sets which comes out to 6 to try and replace. Zvesdas W.W.2 cossacks would work but even the heller 2 figure set I can't find anywhere.
Thanks for the help guys.

Have you thought about the Dragon 6410 cossack cavalry horses, would these be any good for what you are after?

Zvezda cossacks are worth a look and a fair price with 4 horses in the box.

Hey Tom, have all 3 sets but wont work for what I planed, thanks for the suggestion though.
Hey Darren. I think the cossacks would work good but the problem is finding them. Wrote to Zvesda and Heller but no luck. Would love to find 3 sets of the 4 set figures. Could finish the cossack dio and have enough horses to do the 8th Pa. calvary in one shot. Thanks also for the idea.

Hey Darren, thanks a lot, but I think Frenchy just solved my problem.
Hey Frenchy, That is great news. I'll get on it in the morning. Just figured I'll need only 2 sets not 3. Must be real dumb with computers because I've been looking for over 3 years and couldn't find them to save my life. Now if they still have them, I'll finish my cossack dio, but will have enough horses to do up the calvary set. You just made my day.

The Zvezda Cossacks look to be the same as ones by Italeri, so which ever set is easier to find is good.

There are only two figs with horses in he Italeri set unless that has changed, you are correct that they are the same figures.
