the Masterbox Site In Progress Section.

They have had 6 new sets listed for days and nobody is saying a single thing.

Am I dreaming or are they real?

Thanks for the heads up! Nice stuff.

I especially like the modern sets... and the soccer players.

Very nice. I am looking forward to the new Modern and Vietnam sets.

Modern Soldiers w/working dog.

Modern tankers.

Vietnam Jungle Patrol

And of course the WWII Arty Crew.

Looks like I will be shelling out more money to Master Box in the coming year.

The Afghan is definitely worth having. The SAW gunner in the K-9 set looks strangely like my CO. I might have to get it just for that.

All these new items make me want to do the dance of joy. In deference to those living on a fault line, I'll refrain.

The Dog handlers are FABULOUS !!!! The Vietnam figures are for certain finding a place with me as is that long awaited gun crew! Just great!

You have to commend masterbox for including a left handed rifle man in there modern U.S figures, thats something rarely or never seen in figure sets.

I agree. That's why Legend did the 18 Bravo Sgt. Rob as left handed. Well, that and I'm left handed.
There's also a Trumpeter set with a lefty. I think he was a SAW gunner as well.

I have contacted masterbox concerning modern figure sets. The modern figure kits 35154 (marines with dog) and 35131 (modern tank crew) will be released in July 2013

Me Too - i`d be in for the sets with the dogs as i`ve read stories about their bravery under fire, even to the point of taking a bullet for their handlers.
IIRC have`nt some dogs been awarded medals for combat duty ?.

I can't comment on US K9 units, but Treo received the Dickens Medal for bravery, Treo was a UK sech dog now retired with his handler.

I do like the look of the Modern sets, I mean all of them are great but I really think the modern set is one of the best yet.

2013 oh my wallet....

Love MBox figures , but don't get too excited about them till they hit my local hobby shop . Some of the new releases have been forth coming for a couple of years , the Arty crew for almost four years I believe. Any way , still have a dozen or sets of figures in the stash to build

I saw a story on the news about a Brit soldier that was a canine handler who was killed by a IED. His dog was an English Springer Spaniel who died shortly afterwards even though healthy. They say it was a broken heart. Having had several of those dogs I tend to believe it as they are very smart and loyal.
