I noticed that the box front cover shows all the figures' uniforms in camouflage colors. but the figures on the back cover are in a mixture of plain sage and camies. I consulted the Osprey US MArine Corps 1941-45 and the illustrations depict the style of uniforms on the figures in sage, while the text implies that the original Marine-made camouflage uniforms had no design difference from the sage utilities. Is this correct?

Yes, that was mentioned in the book. So the uniforms can be painted either in sage, green-side camo or brown-side camo, and any of those would be accurate?
