Hi guys,
I just discovered the Accurate Armour sells spare DROPS flatracks. Now I wonder if these flatracks could be use with the US Army M1120 HEMTT LHS. Since both vehicles use the Multilift system, I guess the flatracks should be the same.
TIA

Hi
British and US flatracks are similar but not the same :
Here's a US M1077 flatrack built by Oshkosh :
and here's s British-built (by Marshall SPV Ltd) 20-foot flatrack, like the one replicated by Accurate Armour :

Hi Frenchy,
I am aware that they are not the same. I was aware that the US version has additional stowage boxes. What matters to me that
I don`t have to build the entire flatrack from scratch. I also noticed that 2nd Cav uses two or three different types of flatracks. Close enough to spend some 26 GBP on the AA kit.
Thanks

Hans
Just a thought, but you could save your self a great heap of money and build stacks of flatracks in quick time for 1/35 scale.
There is not much to them, with the frame being mainly box section, U channel and angle.
If you need the basic dimensions and shape, have a look at
DAF DROPS and Flatrack
It is amazing how quickly you could knock one out. PM me if you want a drawing of the British version for the sizes as a reference.
Good luck
