Since it's in a model car scale, it might make a nice kit for the next IPMS club automotive challenge build.

It'd be nice to beat those guys at their own game! (Or at least build something that they won't snicker at...)

Of course, I could also see this done up as a more detailed "Rommel's Rod"!

Hmmmmm...?!

Nah, you wanna do it as the standard "pit lane" diorama beloved of the model car fraternity! You know, the one with the car of your choice, getting serviced by the ancient Tammiya pit crew?

The possibilities are boundless! An annoyed Leader, glowering at an NCO with his head under the hood?... Another soldier changing a wheel?...

I have to admit the subject would look impressive next to the Jeeps & Kubelwagens already available in 1:24. And I'd hope the detail will be even sharper than just a scaled-up copy of their 1:35 kit.

Firstly, this isnt large scale.

Secondly, I'm going to have to get two, 1 in rainbow colours and one in gloss black.

A beautiful car with an unfortunate pedigree.

Large scale? I expected to see one in 1/12 or bigger with this title...
