Hello guys

I am in the middle of building a small diorama featuring an M1151 in a Forward operating base in Afgahnistan.

I would like to know what sort of materials are used as a "floor" on top of the sand/dirt. I know that PSP is used sometimes, but are there alternatives: rubber/plastic matting, wood?

If you guys know of anything, or have any pictures I'd be grateful
