Rob Gronovius (aka Sabot)!! :-) :-) :-)
I'm sure no site regular is surprised that Rob is the first to be honored by his piers for his outstanding help with the forum discussions, reviews, and photo reference pics. Rob is most definitely a founding father of this site. His assistance then (and now) is like the glue that keeps this site together. Thanks so much Rob. I am glad you decided to make this site a home on the net!
Salute!
Cheers,
Jim

YM,
Hmm...I hit edit and I don't see anymore text in the field. How much more did you enter?? #:-) It could have something to do with the characters involved with the jester. I may need to change them. The ....
Oh...I see what the problem is. Another rule of thumb I guess. Don't use the forward and backward sign/greater than-less than/HTML style brackets. They apparently activate an HTML mode which then makes the text following disappear when you hit submit. It gets trashed.

Jim, about three or four sentances. I wrote that you really add little touches to the site, like new smileys, that make the site more enjoyable! I also suggested nominating you for a special webmaster award for doing such a great job on the site. (no, really , I was!)
I also gave salute to Rob.

Sincere congratulations to you, Sabot Sir. It really isn't a big surprise that you won this one... Now you should invent another one of those secret handshakes... #:-)
Shure, but Jim's medal should be something special... After all, he is the reason we are all here enjoying those new smileys If he doesn't want to comply with our demands and tries to avoid getting pinned with the medal I suggest we hack the site and pin it by force. Revolution!!! Fight the system!!! Down with the Government!!! Ooops... it hapened again, sorry... #:-) Damn, these smileys are fun..

Rob,
a sincerely heartfelt Congratualtions! goes out to you on your new medal Sir. As everyone else has already said, your contribution's to this site are part & parcel of the very fabric of its success.
In fact, if my memory serves me (and it tends to NOT serve me lately) You were the first person to answer my very first post back on the very first day I joined the site! Don't remember what the question was, but your response was information packed, and almost immediate. As have all your posts since.
Sorry mi compadre', but whether you like it or not, you've become a source that we ALL rely on.
Keep up the good work, and keep those pics coming. :-)
Tread.
BTW, was looking over the 'smiley' faces, deciding on which one to use, and noticed that the one with the sun glasses on kinda reminds me of you with your old avatar.....he has the same haircut doesn't he?
Here.....check it out......... ...............seeeeeee, what did I tell ya.
