I'm looking at this kit to pair with my DAK Panzer III. I have had no luck in finding a review of the Greif(1:35). Would greatly appreciate opinions on its accuracy and ease of assembly. Can anyone out there help me?

Also, Gary Boggs (BBD468) built one http://armorama.com/forums/192110#1607873 not too long ago... maybe he will chime in?

It's a bit long of the tooth. The individual track links are attached to sprues (no "Magic Tracks") and the detailing is fairly basic. HTH.

Hi Matt,
I built one back when they were new (around 1980?) and at that time it was an ok kit. First time I saw indy links, although now they are common... The detailing is a notch higher than the old 251 kit, but still thick & crude by today's DML/AFV Club standards. Still, you do get the original Rommel figure, in leather coat with his hands behind his back - a pose stereotyped ever since!
That's all I can remember - hope it helps!

I have seen the Dragon kit for sale. Is it the same as the Tamiya one? I already have a Rommel figure; so that is of little consequence.

Hi Matt if you can't locate the dragon kit Revell released the grief as well it was the dragon tooling I'm currently building it but stopped coz of fit issues Tamiya's should fall together as Tamiya does replace the mg 34's with dragon items maybe new radios and it should be ok good luck with your build mate Ant.

It's a beauty of a kit mate my only advice is take your time dry fit and double check the fit of the parts at each stage It's lightyears ahead of Tamiya's old faithful but getting her together will often have you pulling your hair out best of luck mate look forward to following the build when you get round to it.
