Hi all,

this is maybe an heretic question, but why no (or only two) AM companies discovered the potential of the FMTV truck family released or announced from Trumpeter.
I guess I am a little preoccupied after several encounters with the M1083 trucks of 2nd Cavalry Regimnent.
I really wonder why there is no PE upgrade for the M1078 and M1083 models? Is the subject of modern US trucks considered less selling over some WWII stuff? Or are there not enough references out for the AM companies.
My personal wishlist for the FMTV family is:
1. Cargo bay cover
2. PE set
3. Interior update set (I found out the ProArt Models has
some errors)
4. m.g. ring mount
5. Drivers Vision Eenhancer
6. FBCB2 rack
7. Steering and brake parts
Again I think if the FTMV would have been used by allies and as Beutefahrzeug by the Wehrmacht we would have all the AM stuff in NO time.
:(

Hi Frenchy,

thanks for the update, I should check out Voyager and E.T. more often. Lets hope they do the same for M1083, too.

Never mind the lack of AM, why no FMTV in Braille Scale? Unless someone knows more than me!
