Hey all,

I'm working on a diorama right now, and while the Dragon figs have been great for a number of things, I'm looking for USGIs in combat poses. Anyone have any suggestions on resin figures?

Thanks!

Hey Jon, Tamiya makes a pretty good set of U.S. infantry in combat poses. It's the U.S. Army Assault Infantry set but can't recall the kit #. Have the set myself and used them in my never ending dio. And masterbox has some also. the one I have is the U.S. Infantry July 44. One trooper dragging a wounded buddy, one standing shooting and another tossing a smoke grenade. They also have a 30 cal. machine gun crew firing. All styrene and good price, and real decent looking. Hope it helps your search. Best of the holidays to you and your family. bob d.

Thanks Bob! I like the Masterbox set and just ordered it. I've had the Tamiya set in the past and they always looked puny next to figures from other companies. Perhaps for the background...

Hey Jon, that's were I used the Tamiya set, in the background mostly. All in all for Tamiya figures they worked out pretty well with all the other figures from Masterbox and D.M.L. I just make sure I scatter them around and mix them with the others so they all fit, size and equipment wise.
