This is only the Canadian Army ranks. The AirForce and Navy insignia are the same just with different backgrounds...Blue for airforce and black for navy.
As well some of ranks have different names in the different services.....all officially the same rank....but are named differently for example in the Army and Air Force it would be Private, for the Navy its Able Seaman.
As well some of the different trades in the particular branch...for examply most of the army trades...a private is a private however if you are a member of the artillery or artillery air defence you would be known as a gunner, as well a corporal would be known as a Bombidere...(sp.) however these would be unofficial names for the ranks...and that the official ranks that you see on the following web page(s).

This is also just modern Canadian ranks Jim...it sounds like most Canadians want WWII ranks....which are the same as the British....man....good luck sorting this out!!!
