So, I'm getting ready to start weathering my T28 for its 1946 winter attack on the Seigfried line. Part of the goal of the diorama is to show it being just bitterly cold which will tie in to some of the story elements. My question is this, what would the kicked up dirt/dust look like? I think i have a handle on the snow itself but the few color pictures of tanks in those conditions seem to show an abstinence of mud with primarily a darker looking dust coat with streaking. Can anybody confirm or poke wholes in this assessment? Any and all guidance is welcome. I've done mud and snow but now I'm trying to represent just awful frozen ground conditions.

Thanks in advance,
Matt
