Hello guys, this is my new "monster" job.
I decided to build the model directly from the box. The only changes I've made are the addition of the chain in the back door of the turret, the pins by lifting the cover and all welds mufflers armored hull and cupola of commander.
Then I will use the Friul tracks. It 'a really gigantic tank and once assembled the tracks will impress. I can not imagine him in the face!

The tank has already been primed and ready for pre-shadow.

The wheels have been "glued" on the masking tape to allow easier coating of the exposed part.

As for the camo, the hull will be green to the side plates in red cos' like the wheels and the turret have not decided yet .... green and diagonal stripes in dark yellow net on vertical plates. The barrel will be red.

It's already looking pretty good.

Yes, this is one big monster. I have the Jagdpanzer E-100, and it's big! Thinking i should build the E-100 to go along side it.

Thanks a lot guys.
The products I use for weathering are the earth tones of the AK (Kursk Earth, Earth Effect, Dark and Fresh Mud Mud) and the European Earth pigments and Dark Earth.
For spatters use the technique of color sprayed by brush with the airbrush.

Work in progress:

For photos, use 4 white light lamps. 2 at the top, 1 on the right and 1 to the left. Light blue sheet of paper to the background. Canon 550D on a tripod, set to F22 and ISO 200 with the automatic timer. Lens 17-50 f2,8.

Fabrizio, being basically an OOB builder, I really liked that you focused your thread on painting and weathering, as your techniques and results are rock solid. Looking forward to your next update.

Hi Fabrizio,

great looking tanks....weathering is perfect... however, 3 photos really didnt justice the excellency .... with your amazing photography skill, i'm sure taking another 10 or more close up photos will testify the manifestation of this build... extravaganza!

Fantastic work on this Fabrizio, love your blog too. You really have a great style and love the execution. I'm a fan!

The big E100 Ausf. B never looked so good. It's a sexy tank if I do say so myself.

Best,

Mike
