Good looking set. I see the figure with his feet on the dash ended up as drunk/asleep in a Jeep somewhere behind the front.

Looks like another great fig set! The weapons sprue is the same as in their recent US Weapons set that I reviewed here. There is a slight scale issue with the carbines, but not enough to lose sleep over. And I saw a discussion on another website that pointed out one of the Garand rifles (with bayonet) had its bolt operating rod handle on the left rather than right side - I went back and checked, to find it is true. Now I know there have been "left handed" versions of weapons in the inventory, but I wonder if such a luxury was allowed on the battlefield in WW2?

Yep, I agree with the above comments - an excellent Review. This really is one of the most useful sets i've seen in a while.

I would like to see a similar set of figures in later uniform and perhaps USMC as well as I believe members would be stocking up on them.

Very good review Darren. I´d love to see these built up and in place, to see if they look as good as the cover art. Sometimes this cab missleading and the figures look square or stiff. If they are indeed as good as the cover art, Id have to have a set.

Nice review, Darren. The options in the kit, especially the patches, are great to see. I built two of the figures in the initial GPW release, and they had good fit and were as good or better than any others in plaastic. The driver was left floating over the seat by about 1mm but that can be fixed with a little work. He wouldn't fit in the WC 51 I have. The 7th division patch won't work with this set as they served in the Pacific and would need a different uniform but that could be placed in a spares box pending a future release.

I forgot to add the 6th infantry division also served in the Pacific. Maybe Bronco is planning ahead for a future release?

Hey Darren, real good review and some very sharp looking figures. I would have to P/U at least 2 sets, other ideas popping into the think tank. Only one problem. You are making it too easy for me to spend more money, but you haven't given up any good excuses or reasons to give the other half to keep us out of the dog house. LOL

I have it easy Bob as I don't go to the pub and for that matter don't drink, so the wife is fairly easy going other than complaining about what she calls "Dust Collectors".

Hey Darren, quite drinking when the wife did to make it easier for her. I know you can't collect dust as bad as we do in Indiana. If we could find a way to use it and sell, then we would be rich out here. After corn and soy beans, it is our 3rd biggest crop.

Great review, I'm now sold on getting them. I just re-read it now that the kit is in stock at Sprue Bros. I think I can ID the unidentified piece of plastic for the B figure, it looks like it is a field dressing pouch.
