Hey guys ,hows it going?
Just wondering if someone could tell me what I should use to thin Mr.Surfacer 500.
It smells laquer based but I want to make sure. Thanks for any help.

You can use Lacquer thinner or Acetone. You might also use liquid glue, but it wouldn't be cheap

I usually dilute it with Tamiya lacquer thinner (yellow cap)

However, I've read that you can also use 90% isopropyl alcohol to dilute it, but since the IPA is hard to find here, I've never tried

....as well as I don't know if you can drink the IPA as it were a peppermint schnapps
