So I'm looking to pose the rear hatch of my KT open but am having trouble with the configuration of the two latches in the upper portion.
It seems like they should be in the down position when the hatch is open, pointed in toward the interior of the turret, but this arrangement seems to foul the sheet metal guard that covers them.
The guard is also hinged, but I would prefer to pose it in the down position so as not to block the view of the interior and ammo stowage.
I guess my question is what configurations are possible and realistic for the rear hatch, latches and sheet metal guard in the open position?
Also, does the hatch rest on the rear deck, or is it held in a horizontal position by the hinges?

Hi,
I don't know how the kit parts are?
But I believe on the real thing the levers turn 180 degrees, from being upright in the closed position to so when open:
HTH, Grant.

Perfect!
It looks like I will have to thin out the sheet metal cover, or replace it with lead foil to get the right thickness, but that's just what I needed.
