Hi guys
Trumpeter just posted a pic of yet another T-64. I defiantly think they do the best box art.
Enjoy
Thanks
Euan

Has any one noticed that the kit with ERA is in fact a T64A with ERA and NOT a T64B.
I`m looking forward to that one.

Initailly I thought "Really, another one?", but then again I love this tank, so the more the better in my opinion.

I can`t wait for the T64A +ERA, an unusual subject that did exist but, it seems, rarely photographed.
I think Mauro posted some pics of one amongst a load of other pics where it again got over looked.
I did mentioned it but no one followed up.
I`d like to see more pics of this beastie.

That`s the links I was on about, thanks again, Mauro.
Has any one else noticed, in the box art picture in the first post, that, the tank in the picture is a T64B1.
So are Trumpeter going to produce models of..
T64A
T64B
T64A+ERA
T64B1
T64BV
if so I will be a very happy modeller.

I like the T-64BV as well, but currently the trumpy is fighting a T-90 war with Meng, so they rush the T-90s and even a T-72B 1989 in production line.
Just my opinion

Were any of those T-60's used in the Soviet war in Afghanistan or used after they left by the Taliban type of groups. Or were any exported to any countries.
Happy modeling

No T-64 was ever used by the Soviet Union in combat and they didn't export it either. Ukraine ended up with about 2000 after the collapse of the USSR and they still use them (and have an upgrade program- the 'Bulat')- Uzbekistan is the only other country to operate them- I'm not sure if these were left in the country post-1991 or whether they were bought from Russia after 1991 but they had about 100 in service in 2011.
I believe the only combat record for the T-64 to date is in Moldova in 1992. According to the website where I got the picture it was a T-64BV being used by the Transnistrian's and it was knocked out by Moldovan forces . This is the well known image of the knocked out tank:

I hope Trumpy do tool up the BV, its my favourite version of the T-64.
