Dear all,

This small vignette was completed in late 2011, finished in about 2 months for a local modeling club campaign. The kit and the figures are from Dragon, put on a self made base.

Very nice work on everything,specially the figs. It was cool to be able to pan down the pics and see how each layer of paint made everything look better.

I really like how you painted the SS camouflage, very good job there. What colors did you use for them? I'm trying to get mine just right before I go making any scenes with them.

Please note that the color of the camouflage may not be correct, since i dont have the paint referenced in the box art. so i try to mix the color with tamiya's acrylic that i have.

As long as i remember, i used 'flat earth' for the base of the camouflage (airbrushed), then 'field grey', 'dark green', and 'flat brown', was paintbrushed on top of it. I maybe have mix some of the colors with a little white.

The only criticism I might make is that maybe the 'replacement' troops should also be dressed in SS camo smocks to keep them consistent with the other guys. Do you have any compatible marching or walking SS troops you could use?
