Happy new year folks
Hoping my Sd Kfz 251 C will be ready in time ! Few more internal items to add, some additional weathering and pigments to imitate the burnt rubber should see it completed in time.
The photo etched tool box on the damaged side seems to have reacted with something and is showing up as a greenish tint on the edges and seams. What is this? and what can I do to remedy it ?

Also being a bit of a numpty and not doing the research I should have I think I may have left the model makers optional equipment marker indicators on the side panels Pretty sure these should have been shaved off and were to only indicate positions for items on other Ausf C models.
Ah well you live and learn

That is some really neat work. I love the subtle green mottled camouflage. Which brand engine did you use?

Hi Robert
Verlinden Set #2098 . Its a pain to fit and it sits way too high in the engine bay. The instructions for the photo etch is non existent and some of the resin parts are way over-sized !
Plenty of dry fitting had it pretty well sorted but as soon as it was painted and final fitted it mysteriously had grown and would not fit with the engine doors closed !! Good job there shown open

Thanks for clearing that up. Oversized it might be but it looks good. next question that I could have asked in my earlier post. What Brand 251 is it?
